H.S. 1st Year Programme (Arts & Science) for the academic session 2025-26
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE STUDENTS
A provisional Selection List for Admission into H.S. 1st Year programme (Arts & Science) for the academic session 2025-26 at Biswanath College is attached herewith. Concerned students are hereby informed about the necessary instructions to be followed by them for getting admission into the H.S. programme.
- Students must accept the ‘Admission Offer’ from the college after logging in to their respective account in the DARPAN Portal. The acceptance by students is scheduled from 27/4/2025 to 29/4/2025.
- Students must bring the hardcopy of filled-in application form downloadable from Darpan portal to be verified at the time of Admission (30/4/2025 & 3/5/2024).
- Each student must produce the following documents in addition to the application at the time of admission:
- Photocopy of mark sheet and certificate of HSLC examination.
- Caste certificate if selected under category.
- Certificate of Extracurricular activity if selected under that category
- The students seeking free admission must produce an income certificate from the circle officer at the time of Document verification i.e. from 30/4/2025 to 3/5/2024 in the College premises.
- Candidates with discontinuation in academic session must produce a Gap certificate (Court Affidavit) from the concerned authority at the time of Document verification i.e. from 30/4/2025 to 3/5/2025 in the College premises.
- Provisionally selected Students must produce all original certificates (academic and others) before the admission committee at the time of admission.
- As per the notice from ASSEB the document verification and final confirmation of admission into HS program is scheduled between 30/4/25 and 3/5/25 from 10 AM onwards.
- If the marks of HSLC entered by a student in Darpan portal does not match with the marks in the original marksheet during verification, he/she will not be considered for admission.
