Establishment:
The Department of Physics at Biswanath College was established in 1970. Over the decades, the department has grown and evolved, playing a crucial role in catering to the academic needs of students, particularly from the expansive area on the north bank of the Brahmaputra.
Courses Offered:
- Degree Course (Pass Course): Introduced in the year 1976-1977.
- Major in Physics (Undergraduate Level): Launched in the academic session of 1984-85.
