Establishment:
The Department of Physics at Biswanath College was established in 1970. Over the decades, the department has grown and evolved, playing a crucial role in catering to the academic needs of students, particularly from the expansive area on the north bank of the Brahmaputra.

Courses Offered:

  • Degree Course (Pass Course): Introduced in the year 1976-1977.
  • Major in Physics (Undergraduate Level): Launched in the academic session of 1984-85.

Since its inception, the department has been dedicated to academic excellence, with numerous students going on to achieve success in various fields of science and research.
